Lynnwood Interiors make a wide range of traditional and contemporary curtain headings; including French/triple pleats, double pleats, pencil pleats and gathered pleats. We hand sew all French, double and goblet pleats to create the ultimate finish to a curtain.

A simple pair of curtains can be transformed by the addition of contrasting buttons, trim or fringing and a coloured lining fabric creates interest when seen from outside.

poles

Poles are a decorative, versatile curtain fitting, suitable for all types of rooms and windows sizes. The design of pole and curtain heading used can set the mood and tone of the room so the finials, finish and pole diameter should be in keeping with the style and proportion of the room.

swags & tails

Swags and tails are the ultimate way to dress a window, creating a grand treatment that is suitable for formal rooms. They look sophisticated and elegant when made up in rich fabrics and trimmed with fringe. Swags and tails can be used on their own to dress a window or in conjunction with curtains and blinds.

pelmets & valances

Valances give a soft finish to a window treatment. The lower edge can be serpentined and they are fabulous opportunity to show off hand sewn headings. The lower edge can be decorated with fringe to bring together colours both in the curtains and the room.

A pelmet is a fabric covered board which can have its lower edge cut to any shape. They show the pattern of a fabric off to great effect and can be used on any shaped window.

interlining

Curtains can be interlined; this creates a luxurious and sumptuous finish together with improving the drape and increasing heat conservation and reducing drafts. Interlining is a thick cotton fabric placed between the curtain and the lining fabric. Roman blinds can also be interlined.

coloured lining fabric & blackout lining

We have a range of over seventy different coloured lining fabrics, in addition to blackout lining fabrics.
